John Huston, Glen Ellyn native and explorer from River North, and traveling companion Tyler Fish pass midpoint of 475-mile hike to North Pole.
Last fall, the Sun-Times wrote about Glen Ellyn native John Huston's planned expedition to the North Pole and how he trained for it by dragging five tires behind him around Chicago.
That training is now being put to the test as Huston and traveling companion Tyler Fish of Minnesota have passed the midpoint of their 475-mile journey.
