John Huston, Glen Ellyn native and polar adventurer plans to make history

You think we've had it rough in Glen Ellyn this winter? The next few months could be even tougher if you tagged along with with 32-year old Glen Ellyn native John Huston.

Next week John puts his physical and mental training and endurance to the test. He intends to be one of two humans to successfully ski 475 miles unsupported from Canada to the North Pole. John and fellow adventurer Tyler Fish, from Ely, Minnesota will be pulling all of their supplies to the North Pole without any additional intervention.
